I have a cold going on here, so I'll be keeping this kind of short but show you the yummy yarns I got from my SP 12 pal.
This brown yarn seems to be from Germany but I could not find anything about it online. It's a two-ply laceweight in unknown lenght but since the teal one is around 1400 meter per 100 gr I guess that this is the same.
The teal one is Prodotti "Alma" again a yarn I could not find via ravelry or google. It's 70% woo, 20 % silk (seta is silk isn't it?) and 10% cashmere. Really reall really soft
Then there was another kone of laceweight in red:
Any pattern suggestions for these 3 yarns? I do own "victorian lace today", "A gathering of lace" and "Lace style"...
3 balls of very soft and yummy "Laine du nord -cashsilk" These are going to be some really nice wristwarmers.
and my secret pal even dyed something for me ( I dyed some yarn today too for a friend, I'll post a pic once it's dry!)
I'm not sure about the content but I thought of making a tudora, what do you think?
Despite feeling rather tired today I managed to do some sewing and will be able to post something finished soon (not the quilt....)

Bei dem braunen würde ich eher auf ein italienisches Garn tippen, so von der Sprache auf der Bandarole her. Oder was in einer anderen romanischen Sprache.

"Decatie" ist definitiv nicht italienisch. Googeln hat ergeben, dass es vom französichen "decatir" kommt. Aber nun antwortet Leo nicht...
Seta hingegen ist italienisch (spanisch/portugiesisch aber vermutlich auch) und heißt auch Seide.

Oh, nun ist Leo wieder da, und antwortet wenig erhellend:
decatir:
- etwas dekatieren (Wollstoff behandeln)
- etwas krumpfen (Wollstoff behandeln)
Immerhin sind wir beim Thema Wolle, aber was um Himmels Willen ist krumpfen?

Dekatieren oder Krumpfen bedeutet Wolle mit Hitze und Feuchtigkeit zu behandeln, damit sei die Dehnung durchs Weben/Spinnen verliert und dann später nicht mehr eingeht. (Ich kenne es nur von Stoffen)
Was heißt denn dekatieren auf italienisch? Denn "lana" ist definitiv nicht französisch.
Das Paket kam wohl aus Italien (ich weiss es noch nicht)
draus steht noch irrestringibili D.C.T: und "nicht eingehend und nicht filzend" DCT Trademark. ALso hat Germania vielleicht doch was mit Deutschland zu tun.
Die Firma könnte auch rofil sein...
